Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ (McConagha) Teel was born June 27, 1860 at Chandersville, Ohio. She was married in Sundale, Ohio on March 9, 1903 to Austin S. Teel of Moorefield, Nebraska. They lived a short time on his farm and then moved into Farnam, where Austin died on September 15, 1927 and was buried in the Moorefield Cemetery beside his first wife Edith (Echelberry) Teel, who had died on October 12, 1894.
Lizzie continued living in Farnam at their home on Lincoln Street until her death on September 27, 1937 and was buried in the Farnam Cemetery. Her unmarked burial spot has been gifted with a flat stone marker by the Farnam Cemetery with memorial money provided by the Farnam Centennial Association.
