Caroline A. Joy-French Morton
This is Caroline Joy, daughter to Hiram & Caroline Hayden, after Caroline Hayden Joy died in about 1836, David & Cynthia Eldred French adopted Caroline Joy. Her father was still alive at the time, but wasn't able to care for her, and Caroline's mother had asked the French's to raise her daughter on her deathbed. Caroline is a true Joy descendant, but was adopted by the French family.
