Wilhelmine Caroline "Minnie" Rutz Sporven
April 4, 1883 - Nov. 13, 1951
Minnie was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of Johann Erdman & Wilhelmina K H Krey Rutz. Her parents came to the US between 1878-1879. She had 4 sisters and 1 brother, her oldest sister being born in Germany, and the rest all born in the US. She married Carl Sporwien-Sporven Jan. 24, 1904 in Manning, Carroll Cnty, IA, and they had 10 children, 2 still living.
