He lived in Moscow, Muscatine, Iowa, United States in 1870 and Davenport, Scott, Iowa, United States in 1880. He died on 12 November 1906, in Seward, Nebraska, United States, at the age of 59, and was buried in Utica, Seward, Nebraska, United States.
