When Frank Haines Linville was born on 15 September 1870, in Newport, Jones, Iowa, United States, his father, John Wallace Linville, was 33 and his mother, Margaret Jane Bevard, was 21. He married Cecil May Lloyd on 25 January 1893. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He lived in Port Emma, Dickey, North Dakota, United States in 1930 and Sioux City, Woodbury, Iowa, United States in 1940. He died on 5 February 1952, at the age of 81, and was buried in Utica Cemetery, Utica, Seward, Nebraska, United States.
