Robert August 22, 1847 - December 27, 1917 came to the USA from Ireland in 1860. Private 8th Louisiana Infantry Co H. Child soldier. Enlisted December 1861, was discharged about a year later due to disabilaty, was sick in hospital whole time regiment was in Virginia. Was surrendered with regiment at end of war. In 1910 was town marshal of Wilber.
