Similda Lawrence was born in January 1885 in Fillmore County, Nebraska. She had had ten siblings and by 1900, the family was living near Moorefield, Nebraska. Similda married a neighbor boy, Glenn L. Greenlee on Sept. 11, 1904 at Stockville, NE. Her death occurred on March 2, 1905, six months after her marriage. Her obituary can be found at www.historicfarnam.us. This flat grave marker was placed by the Farnam Cemetery with a memorial gift from the Farnam Centennial Association.
