Susan Carol (Hudson) Norris – Barclay, 56 of Dakota City, NE passed away Tuesday March 4, 2014 at The Ponca Care Center due to complications of cancer. Visitation with the family will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 a.m Monday at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Omaha Valley Cemetery in rural Homer, Nebraska with the Rev. Tess Panamarow officiating. Susan was born February 18, 1957 in Sioux City, Iowa and was adopted into the loving family of Russell and Jo Hudson. She attended schools in Sioux City and graduated with a GED in 1994. Susan was married to Ed Norris from 1978 to 1994. She married Clarence Barclay on June 19, 1999 in South Sioux City. She worked as a CNA for nursing homes from 1997 until 2007. Susan was an avid horseman and a devoted wife and mother. She is lovingly survived by her husband Clarence of Dakota City, her children: Jesse Norris of Homer, NE, Frank Norris, Raymond Norris and Danny Norris all of Dakota City, NE, William and his wife Karen Norris of Galesville, WI, Gary and his wife Trisha Norris of Sioux City, a daughter Stacy Norris of Wisconsin and a stepson Glen Norris of Cherokee, IA, three brothers: Ron Hudson of Green Valley, AZ, Mike and Judy Hudson of Desoto, TX, Eric and Julie Hudson of Galesville, WI, her mother Jo Hudson of GreenValley AZ, seven stepgrandchildren, one great grandchild and her two cats: Sammy Doodle and Inky Binky. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Hudson, Jessie, Gary and Stacy Norris and Charlie Schieffer. Pallbearers will be Frank, Ray, Danny and William Norris, Randy Davis, Dale and Cody Barclay. There will be a lunch at the Legion Hall in Homer, NE following the service at the cemetery
