Una Lee Dowling Siudzinski went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 23, 2012. She was a resident of Ashland Care Center which is where she passed away. She was born on April 16, 1931, in Brunswick, Nebraska, to Russel George and Susan I. (Filkens) Nagel. She married Melvin C. Dowling on February 18, 1950, and enjoyed 50 years of marriage until his passing in June of 2000. She then married Edward F. Siudzinski, Jr., on November 2, 2001, and enjoyed many travelling adventures during their marriage. During her years on this earth, she was a mother, homemaker, 4-H leader, volunteer at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska, and a member of the Strategic Air Museum where she spent many Saturdays volunteering in the restoration area with Ed.
Survivors include her husband Ed, Lincoln; her beloved Yorkshire Terrier, Missy; brother Robert Nagel (JoAnne), Loveland, CO; children and step-children Robert M. Dowling (Tina), Carroll, NE; Nancy L. Bethune, O'Neil, NE; Gloria S. Kudera (Gordon), Pierce, NE: Wayne R. Dowling (Kathleen), Tribune, KS; Marilyn J. Brauer (Richard), Norfolk, NE; Mary F. Krueger (Ron), Lincoln; Pamela A. Larbey (Mark), Thatcham, England; Dean A. Dowling (Brenda), Hartington, NE; Kathleen J. Dowling (Wayne), Tribune, KS; Edward F. Siudzinski, III, (Michelle), Lincoln; Lisa M. Carpenter (Rob), Lincoln; 29 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Russel and Susan Nagel; first husband Melvin Dowling.
Services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Northeast United Church of Christ, 6200 Adams Street, Lincoln, Nebraska, with a luncheon following the service in the church fellowship hall. Interment will be at Brunswick Cemetery in Brunswick, NE at 4:00 PM. Visitation at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln, NE,
