It is claimed that Maggie was the Sioux wife of outlaw Jesse James. She later married a man named Goodteacher. Also buried here is Joseph Jesse Chase, do claims to have been Jesse Jame's son. However, Chase was born in 1870, 14 years after her death, which makes the claim unlikely.
