My mother, Theresa Antonia Ortmeier Huhman, Daughter of Herman & Clara (Maly) Ortmeier.
She grew up in the West Point area. She received her education at Monterey, Nebraska. She married Emil J. Huhman on January 20, 1932 in Monterey, Nebraska. They farmed in Cumming County before they moved to Columbus in 1955. While in Columbus she cooked at various restaurants. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church, Legion of Mary and Holy Hour. She was a 4-H Leader for many years and enjoyed quilting, gardening cooking and baking and keeping track of her family.

Sister: Ida Peatrowsky of Ft. Collins, CO
28 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren
