FRANCES WAS BORN IN CHADRON TO GEORGE A. AND MINNIE E. (MARTENS)PINKERTON HER FATHER EMIGRATED FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO NEBRASKA
THEN TO DAWES COUNTY HER MOTHER CAME FROM GERMANY
TO INDIANA THEN TO DAWES COUNTY BEFORE MARRIAGE
FRANCES GRADUATED FROM CHADRON STATE COLLEGE
TAUGHT SCHOOL AND WAS A BOOKEEPER
IN ADDITION TO RANCHING BILL AND FRANCES ENJOYED A VERY INTERESTING LIFE WHICH INCLUDED WORLDWIDE TRAVELS THEY GAVE GENEROUSLY TO THE COMMUNITY CHADRON STATE PARK AND FORT ROBINSON THEY DONATED THE BELL AND CLOCK TOWER TO CHADRON STATE COLLEGE
