Agnes was the dau/o Sophia Hartman and A Hartman, both born in Germany. Her father died between 1870 and 1880. In the 1880 Census, Sophia (widow) was a dressmaker in Sarpy Co, NE living with daughters Agnes (age 13) and Elizabeth (age 11).
Agnes md Reuel Alford in 1893 in Sarpy Co, NE. They had 3 sons: Clark, Ernest (who died at 6 mo), and Reuel "Earl" Jr.
By 1900 they were living in Douglas Co, CO. Husband Reuel died in 1908 and Agnes continued to live in CO at least through 1920 (Census). She died 23 Jan 1935 at the age of 67Y 7M.
