Dorothee was born in Schleswig, Germany March 30, 1864. She emigrated from Germany at the age of 14 with her parents to Blair, Nebraska by crossing the Missouri River on a railroad train ferry.
"Grandma Wulf" was loved by her grandchildren. She was a lover of plants.
Dorothee and Claus Wulf raised five children. They are George Wulf, William Wulf, Mrs. Emma Stork, Hans Wulf, and Mrs Harry Larsen
