On detached duty working in armoury in Nashville, Chattanooga, then Columbus. Served the duration of the war, reunited with his wife after the war was over. September 28, 1823 - April 15, 1898.
Mary E. "Geer" Johnson April 6, 1823 - January 2, 1913. Married Gilbert March 31, 1850 in Connecticut.
