The following information comes from Bettirae Thornton, a Crawford, Nebraska, genealogist. Her contribution is gratefully acknowledged.
Charles Aaron Young was born in Sweden Dec 28, 1867 and died age 86 Dec 31, 1953. He came to Ottumwa, IA at age 18 and worked for the railroad. He married Winnie Davey on May 17, 1900 in Lincoln, Nebraska.. They moved to Ravenna, Nebraska, lived there 6 years, came to Crawford, where he continued working for the railroad. In 1912 he moved his family to a farm south of Crawford. Daughter Jennie died in 1942, obit does not state whether she was married.
