This grave marker is for the Ladies Auxiliary to the Order of Railway Conductors.
It is between the stones for Ellen Brockway, 1839 – 1890, and Herman Brockway 1835 – 1919. This Order is also known as the Order of Railway Conductors and Brakemen. Mrs. Brockway died only five years after the railway arrived in Chadron, Nebraska.
