Clarissa Ann was the daughter of Thomas Dempsey Brown b. 2/4/1831 Indiana, d. 3/7/1867 Decatur Co., Iowa, and Susanah Heaston [Brown] b. 6/3/1837 Bloomington, Monroe, Indiana, d. 10/2/1902 Gage Co., Nebraska.
From her Brown side, Clarissa Ann is a direct descendant (8th great granddaughter) of Stephen Bachiler (A very popular figure in history).
Clarissa Ann Brown and John Elmer Hadley had 13 Children. All born in Gage County, Nebraska, most all in, Holmesville.
