Here is his obit and you will notice that they called the cemetery the Carpenter Cemetery.
PASSING OF PIONEER (Pioneer Grip, Alliance, NE March 1905)
Jesse Wright, father of Val and Mose Wright, who was one of the pioneer settlers of this county, died at his home in Indian Territory last week and the remains arrived today on 41` and taken to the home of his son Valentine who lives some fourteen or fifteen miles west of town. The funeral will take place tomorrow and interment will occur at the Carpenter cemetery. The deceased was one of the most popular residents of the early settlers and was a member of the Masonic order for 53 years. His widow, three sons, and four daughters survive him. Mr. Wright moved to Indian Territory four years ago, where he since resided. Deceased was 81 years old.
