Ionia cemetery is on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River near Newcastle. Across the river in the distance can be seen Vermillion SD. Across the road is the famous "Ionia Volcano" as discribed by Lewis & Clark. Small cemetery, taken care of, seems to be mostly five families.
