The Max cemetery was completely wiped out by the Republican River flood in 1935. It was located in this cornfield which is now a part of the Frank Lutz farm.
The cemetery is about 1 mile west of Max; .1 tenth of a mile west of the intersection of Ave 343 and Highway 34. Private property; request permission before visiting.
GPS reading: North 40 degrees, 05.44 minutes; West 101 degrees, 25.173 minutes.
Elevation: 2,921.
