Violet Jeanette Knisley
Violet Knisley, daughter of Mrs. Meoria Knisley, of Lincoln, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom J. Caster, of Farnam, was taken seriously ill last Friday at the home of her grandparents, where she had been taken following an appendicitis operation, which was preformed about two weeks ago. She was taken at once to the hospital, where she passed away Sunday evening about 6:00 o’clock, with complications casued from summer complaint.
The many friends of the family are grieved at the departure of this little one, and extend their sympathy to the bereaved ones.
Violet Jeanette Knisley was born June 12, 1920 at Farnam, Nebraska, departing this life July 29, 1934 at Farnam, Nebraska.
The most of her life was spent around Lincoln until five years ago when she made her home with Thomas N. Caster and family, near Farnam.
Her father preceeded her in death five years ago.
She leaves to mourn her mother, Mrs. Meoria Knisley, brothers, sisters, her grandparents, uncles and aunts, and a large circle of friends.

We take this means of thanking the many friends and neighbors for the beautiful floral offerings and help extended during the illness and death of our beloved daughter, neice and grandchild. Also for the sunshine bag which was given her, which gave her much joy during her illness.
