Infant McCarl was born and died on May 16, 1929 near Farnam, Nebraska. He was the child of Roy and Emma (Stahlecker) McCarl. His grandparents were Wm. H. and Anna L. (Palmer) McCarl and his memorial stone placed by the Farnam Cemetery with memorial money from the Farnam Alumni and Friends is close by to theirs. His mother died in a motor vehicle accident in 1938 at Burlington, CO and is buried there.
