Charles Morter in His Ninety-sixty year, Passes Away to Eternal Rest
Died – At the residence of John Clements, in Lyons, Neb., Monday, 5 p.m. Feb. 7th,1892, Charles Morter, in his 96th year.
The deceased was born in England, in April 1795. (I believe the date of Feb 7th is an error in newspaper. Headstone says Mar 7. Newspaper is dated March 10.)
