Rev Isaac Stone was born in Rising Sun Indiana, October 18, 1817, died July 14, 1908. Came to Alvo Nebraska and served as a Baptist church pastor, postmaster (Belmont in Cass County), farmer, school board member, and member of Nebraska legislature. Son of Benjamin Stone a school teacher in Rising Sun, and grandson of the Rev Benjamin Stone, a revolutionary war patriot. Isaac married Melisinth P. Stone of Rising Sun, Indiana.
