History OMADI

Omadi / Sand Ridge / Cedar Heights Cemetery
Dakota County,

Omadi Cemetery (also known both as Sand Ridge and Cedar Heights) no longer exists. In the late 1970's a neighboring farmer encroached on the property, threw all the gravestones in a ditch and buried them and then farmed over the graves. Omadi Cemetery is now a corn field, so no gravestone may ever be found.
Known burials are:
Smith, John Jr. 5-7-1837 to 9-21-1917
Smith, Martha M. (Deborde) 1846-
Smith, Sarah Ann (Sheers) ?-?
