Yellow Smoke is a small cemetery accessible only by a rough vehicle trail through the trees and fields. It is located .7 tenths of a mile north of the Thurston/Burt county line on highway 75 north of Decatur. Its entrance is a narrow entrance into the trees and easily missed, there is no sign. The trail winds far back into the bluffs where the cemetery sits on the top of a hill and the view is beautiful. Do not attempt to enter when it is wet.
