The Masonic Grand Lodge of Nebraska laid the Corner Stone on December 27, 1911 with a silver trowel. The crematory located in the lower level of the chapel was retired in 1990.
The first funeral service held in the chapel was September 15, 1914. The first wedding service was June 1984.
