The five day old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Huhman, living on the Briebarth place north of town, died Monday at an Omaha Hospital where he had been taken Saturday for treatment. The body was brought home by the mother's sister, Mrs. Carl Spenner and Mr. Spenner who had been called to Omaha. Funeral services were held Wednesday with Rev. Bruecker officiating. - Beemer Times- May 25, 1933
