Born in Dane County, Wisconsin. Died in Hot Springs South Dakota. Married Inis Porter on Nov. 15 1871. Came to Omaha in 1869 and was a railroad official. Belonged to the Masonic Lodge and was a Union Soldier serving in the 39th Missouri Volunteers. Was active in the Department of Nebraska GAR and a member of the Douglas County Association of Nebraska Pioneers.
