This strip of small stones was once the "far side" of the cemetery. The portion to the east was added years later. This was a designated area for those who couldn't afford burials and/or stones. The cemetery records have a few of the names but not all. It was a "Potters Field" so to speak. There aren't burials by each one, it was just the designated area. (Information from Thabor Lutheran Cemetery records.)
