William Emil Hagel. dob 13 January 1897 in Rushville, Sheridan County, Nebraska. Married Lila Margarite Robins** 30 July 1922 in Rushville, NE. dod 08 March 1930 from complications of nerve gas exposed to during WWI. Son of C.O. and Bertha Bartz Hagel.
* Note: There are two headstones on Bills grave. The one purchased by the family reads William E. Hagel. The Army later put up the second stone behind the first. Headstone reads: William E. Hagel. PVT 1CL 419 Motor Transp. Corp. March 8, 1930
**Note: Lila Margarite Robins* dob 18 January 1899, Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming. Married James Milton Horn 5 June 1936.
