Inscritpion from back of the stone"
"I DO EVERYTHING TO THE EXTREME."
IN THE 25 YEARS HE WAS ON EARTH
TONY ACCOMPLISED MUCH WHILE MEETING
HIS HARDEST CHALLENGES WITH A SMILE.
AFTER BECOMING PARALYZED JULY 2, 1992 HIS MOTTO WAS
"NEVER SAY CAN'T DO." HE LIVED EACH DAY AS AN ABLE BODIED MAN WOULD HAVE.
SOME OF HIS ACCOMPLISMENTS WERE PAINTING, SHINGLING HOUSES AND DOING BODY WORK ON VEHICHLES. HE DESIGNED AND BUILT HIS INDOOR TRAINER FOR RACING. HE ALSO PROUDLY DESIGNED AND TAILORED HIS RACING OUTFITS.
ARCHITECTURE WITH AN EMPHASIS ON HANDICAP ACCESS WAS A SPECIAL INTEREST OF HIS. HE DRAFTED OVER 60 BLUEPRINTS. HIS DESIGNS HAVE BEEN BUILT IN NEBRASKA AND WYOMING.
HIS MOST ARDOUS CHALLENGE WHICH HE NAMED THE "EXTREEM RUN" WAS THE 108 MILE WHEELCHAIR RUN FROM MORRILL TO CHADRON ON JULY 2, 1998. THE RUN TOOK 18 HOURS. HE OUT PERFORMED HIMSELF ON JUNE 19, 1999 WITH A TIME OF 15 HOURS.
ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED TONY REGARDED HIM AS THE "EXTREME"
