Services for Christine Lueker, 89, of Stanton will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Peace
United Church of Christ here with burial at Immanuel Cemetery at Winside.
Visitation will start at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church.

Shultz-Vogel-Johnson Mortuary of Stanton is in charge of arrangements. Dr.
Richard Brown will officiate.
She died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010, at Stanton Health Center.

Christine Lueker was the daughter of David and Anna (Schroeder) Lueker. She was
born Oct. 22, 1920, northwest of Winside. She was a 1939 graduate of Winside
High School.She completed a secretarial correspondence course from American
School of Commerce, Omaha.
Christine was employed in several offices as secretary in Norfolk. Christine was
very active in her church.

She was a member of the Immanuel Reformed Church near Winside and the Peace
United Church of Christ northeast of Norfolk. She was also active in clubs and
community activities in Hoskins, Winside and Wayne.

Christine is survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by her
parents and grandparents.

Music will be by organist Marcia Prussa and soloist Adele Gallop with "How Great
Thou Art" and special music, "Precious Memories."
Pallbearers are Randall Bargstadt, Glen Hillen, Steven Strate, Phillip Strate,
Paul Meierhenry and Richard Behmer.
