Her name was Charity Beeson Serry Mongar, born in 1842 in Illinois, died in 1881(?) at Ponca, Nebraska. Charity Beeson's first husband was a Serry, with whom she had 4 or 5 children. Widowed during the 1870s, she married Winfield Scott Mongar, and had 4 children with him: David Vincent (1876-1930), George Albert (187?-19??), Walter Scott (1879-1957, adopted by J & M Crane), and Cora Elizabeth (1881-19??). Her last husband, called W.S. or Scott, remarried and died in Kansas circa 1930.
