Organized April 21, 1883. Pleasant View was the original name of this cemetery, located 11 miles west of Pierce. It was frequently referred to as the Tawney Cemetery, due to the fact that church services were held across the road in the Tawney School located on a corner of the Tawney Ranch.
In May 1939 the name of the cemetery was officially changed to Lambrecht Cemetery, recognizing the homesteader, August Lambrecht, whose farm the cemetery was located on.
