Ada May Andersen is the daughter of Jorgen and Mina Andersen
“Concerned about the lack of hospital care in Hay Springs, Jorgen had sent Mina to Omaha to stay with sister Anna Eriksen until the baby would arrive in May.
“Little Ada May had been born in the Covenant Swedish Mission Hospital in Omaha, and all was well…Two weeks later the hospital notified Jorgen that. . . the baby had contracted small pox in the hospital.
