This cemetery is part of the Ferdinand Koehler homestead. His son George Koehler died on January 1, 1880 of diphtheria and was the first to be buried in the cemetery. Ten days later a daughter, Louise Koehler also dies of diphtheria. There is an estimated 66 graves at this location, many unmarked and no official records are available.
