Gertrude Saeger
Daughter of William & Amanda (Griebnow) Saeger
December 15, 1903 – August 5, 1905
Pierce County Leader, Pierce, Nebraska; August 10, 1905
Gertrude, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Saeger, died at her home north of town last Saturday after a sickness of only two days. After suffering great pain for two days the little one sank into a quiet sleep and the parents watched anxiously by her bedside hoping that this was a sign of improvement in her condition but little Gertrude awoke in that happier land where pain is unknown. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church and Rev. Scheips officiated. Interment was made in the cemetery east of town.
