I am the Resurrection and the life.
He that believeth in Me shall never Die.

When they who shield the Assassin's
Hand and share the awful crime with
Him, stand before the Bar of God,
His Truth will right the wrong and sin.

The following text is taken from an undated document published by the Northwest [Nebraska] Genealogical Society

Addison Von Harris was shot to death on 2nd Street by the ex-town Marshall Arthur Morrison. On Jan 17, 1895 there was an argument between Mr. Morrison and Mr. Harris. Mr. Akes was walking with Mr. Harris and several other men on the west side of the street across from the pharmacy (located where Warren Pharmacy is today). Charley Akes was walking slightly behind Mr. Harris. He shot toward Arthur Morrison, missed him. Mr. Morrison returned fire hitting Mr. Harris in the neck

A much fuller - and somewhat different - account of these events can be found on pages 101 – 103 in Wild Towns of Nebraska, by Wayne C. Lee.
