Charlie (son of Joe and Skondra Saub) and Clara lived in Gordon, NE all of their married life. Clara grew up near Batesland and Charlie in Gordon. Charlie's life revolved around Clara, the family store (Saub's) and golfing. He also played baseball, bowled, hunted, and fished. Charlie died March 4, 2009. This gravestone picture was taken the day after his funeral.
