Joe was a peddler in the sandhills of Nebraska. He went back to Syria to marry someone from his own ethnic background (Skondra). He brought wife Skondra and children Abe, Freda, Charlie, Nellie, and Minnie back to the U.S.A. in the mid 1920's. Joe was the founder of Saub's store in Gordon Nebraska.
