Conscripted 8-12-1862 Harrisburg VA, captured May 12, 1864 at Spotsylvania was originally held at Point Lookout, Maryland was transfered to Elmira NY infamous POW Camp, and was released June 22, 1865 after taking oath of allegiance, which is recorded June 27, 1865. Described as 5'9" dark eyes, complexion florid. Was a pretty good soldier by looking at his service record.
