High on a hill overlooking the Missouri River is a single military style gravestone. James Dick is buried on property his family used to own. Now this is private property and even if one knew where to look permission is needed to visit. This overlooks Blackbird Bend and no doubt there are many Native American unmarked graves here. (NOT to be confused with the Dick Family Cemetery near Macy)
