The Morsett Cemetery is also referred to as the Carver Cemetery and the Mars Cemetery, Carver after the man who donated the land and Mars for the small community that was once nearby. It is located about 7 miles north of Royal on private property. One must go about one half mile through a series of pastures and gates, permission is required and a guide is needed. Records are not available but it is estimated that between 30 and 100 people are buried in the cemetery and the hill.
