Charles was born June 1844 in Massachusetts. Died 1911. His wife Helen is buried beside him. The 1860 census on July 2 showed him age 16 residing with his parents Oliver L. & Sophiona Cromwell Linwood, Portage County, Wisconsin. The 1900 census shows him in Enterprise Twp, Valley County, Nebraska.
